Our History
A journey into the past, drawing on extensive Experience
From our beginnings in 1985 to the artificial intelligence revolution, the history of Cis & Met Informatica is a journey of innovation and international success.
1985 - 1995
Our Origins
In 1985, entrepreneur Teggi founded Met System, a software and hardware development company. In 1992, Met System joined forces with three other partners to establish Cis & Met Informatica, broadening the company's expertise. These early years laid the foundations for future expansion and innovation.
1996 - 2005
Innovation and Partnerships
The 1998 marked the launch of CM-Logistica, the company's first warehouse management software. In 2002, Cis & Met launched CM-Trasporti, software for transport planning and distribution cost optimisation. Two years later, in 2004, the company became a SAP partner, integrating its systems directly with SAP. In 2006, Cis & Met partnered with OT-Group, a specialist in process optimisation.
2006 - 2015
International Expansion and New Products
In 2011, Cis & Met expanded into European and Asian markets, strengthening its international presence. In 2013, the company opened an office in Brazil, establishing Cis & Met Tecnologia e Serviços. The following year, a partnership with Action Network enabled integration with Microsoft Dynamics NAV. In 2015, Cis & Met launched CM-Spedizioni, an evolution of CM-Trasporti, and CM-Portable, an app for logistics and transport.
2016 - Today
Continuous Innovation and New Markets
In 2016, the company introduced CM-Suite, combining its supply chain software in one solution, with web access through CM-WebSuite. In 2018, Cis & Met launched CM-Blockchain for traceability certification. In 2022, the company entered the Australian market. In 2023, CM-AI was launched, featuring artificial intelligence algorithms developed in-house over previous years.
